  3. Be observant for individuals who are engaging in unauthorized activities or possess prohibited items and take appropriate action.

Risk Management Don’ts…

  2. Don’t fail to observe, record and report any significant circumstance or incidents, such as bodily injuries, conflicts, ejections, property damage, equipment malfunction or significant departure from normal operating procedures.
  3. Don’t hesitate to contact your supervisor or the on-site security/police if the situation warrants law enforcement action.

Incident Handling Do’s…

  1. Do give respect and appropriate attention to the person(s) involved in the incident.
  2. Do stabilize the situation and call for appropriate assistance (medical, security or police, etc.).
  3. Do investigate the incident and take corrective actions to prevent further incidents, injury or damage.
  4. Do complete an incident/security report and include photographs, witness statements or other supplementary reports.

Incident Handling Don’ts…

  1. Don’t leave the involved person(s) unattended until the appropriate support personnel have arrived on the scene (medical/first aid, security/police, etc.).
