What is the Midwest Soccer Alliance?
The
Midwest Soccer Alliance is a cooperative partnership among Iowa State Soccer Association, Kansas Youth Soccer Association, Missouri Youth Soccer Association and Nebraska State Soccer Association. All four states are willing to work together to better serve soccer in their states.
The benefits of the Alliance has been positive. The Alliance has partnered to save money on youth player insurance and to secure Toyota as the Official Vehicle of the Midwest State Soccer Associations.
Each state within the Alliance is a 501 (c)(3) and a public charity under sections 509 (a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. This allows contributions to be deductible under section 170 of the code and we are qualified to receive deductible transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Together we represent over 126,00 youth and adult soccer players, 12,500 coaches, 5,700 referees and 2,000 administrators throughout the states. The Alliance consists of various clubs who register players (boys and girls) from ages of four (4) through nineteen (19) on the youth side in all four states and any age of players on the adult side in Iowa and Nebraska. This creates members of all ages working together for the same mission.
All states in the Alliance are members of the United States Youth Soccer Association (US YOUTH SOCCER) and are the official representative of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for their state. Iowa and Nebraska are members of United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). By affiliation with these states, players are also affiliated with theses national associations. |
